Dr. Christina Jacobsen Filipović
Founder & Director of Medico Maris
Dr. Christina Jacobsen Filipović brings an international medical background and a broad view of patient care to Medico Maris. She studied medicine in Heidelberg and Berlin, completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Belgium and Germany, and later continued her medical work and research in the United States.
After years of practicing across different healthcare systems, Dr. Jacobsen Filipović founded Medico Maris to provide accessible, attentive medical care for the island community and its visitors.
Dr. Robert Pavić
M.D. in General Medicine
Dr. Robert Pavić is a general medicine physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and has worked in general and tourist medicine clinics across Croatia, as well as in Germany.
His experience includes caring for local residents, families, and visitors with a wide range of everyday medical concerns. At Medico Maris, Dr. Pavić offers practical assessment, clear guidance, and reliable care for patients of all ages.
Lina Čumlievski
Registered Nurse & Patient Care Coordinator
Lina welcomes patients as they enter Medico Maris, speaks with them to better understand their medical needs, and works closely with our doctors to help coordinate the appropriate care. Throughout each visit, she is available to answer questions about treatment, our services, and billing procedures, helping every patient feel informed, comfortable, and well cared for.
